As Facebook rolls out its Year In Review tool, we thought we’d follow suit and take a look back at some of FreshMinds’ highlights from the past year.
Over the year, we’ve expanded our client portfolio as well as our team. We’ve been delighted to welcome some fantastic new additions to the team including Ramona Bartlett and Drew Still, who have joined us as Senior Consultants and Anjul Sharma, who joined as Head of Client Development.
In July, we were lucky enough to represent the UK research industry on a trade delegation to South-East Asia with the Prime Minister. In her role as a UK Business Ambassador, our CEO, Caroline Plumb, promoted UK trade and investment in the region on the 5 day trip which visited Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.
July also saw the launch of our own research, designed to uncover what the high street will look like in 2025, in Marketing Week. We bought some of the leading figures from across the retail industry – including Not on The High Street’s Marie Lewis, Appear Here’s Ross Bailey and property expert Ranald Phillips from Ashcroft – together to discuss the implications at a dedicated event for retailers at London’s Drink, Shop and Do.
In September we reached a major milestone: our 15th birthday! We celebrated by launching a new range of services designed to illuminate the path growth within our clients’ businesses. And with an incredible cake made by very talented YD from our finance team.
We rounded off the year by gaining some fantastic external recognition for our work from some of the industry’s most prestigious bodies. We were delighted to be nominated for the MRS’s Applications of Research award for our work with O2. And in December, we were named Market Research Company of the Year by the Drum Network Awards!
And as we edge ever closer to Christmas, all that’s left is to thank our wonderful team as well as our clients for all their support over the last year and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
