3 ways we’re connecting with and contributing to our wider networks

We’re delighted to be nominated for Best Place To Work at the MRS Awards and ahead of the ceremony on 5th December, we’re celebrating some of the things that make FreshMinds a great place to work.

In our last blog post, we explored 5 ways our employees are making a difference and driving change within FreshMinds. But we’re also passionate about connecting with and contributing to our wider networks. Here’s what we’ve been up to connecting with the insight and the innovation industries and as international ambassadors for UK business.

We’ve been to conferences across the country to talk insight, innovation and everything in between. From the connected home to the tech trends transforming the automotive sector, we’ve loved having the opportunity to share our thoughts on the issues shaping our industry as well as those of our clients. And as members of the MRS think tank, The Delphi Group, we’re investigating some of the most pertinent business issues of the day.

After our very own Chris Leo and Mathilde Leblond were crowned Startup Weekend winners in London, we were asked to mentor hopefuls at the Manchester event. We shared our top tips for developing ideas that deliver customer value and innovating products and services at speed. Read what we learnt both as mentors and as winners on our blog.

We’ve also represented the business community more broadly. Our Executive Chair, Caroline Plumb, is one of the UK Government’s Business Ambassadors and has represented the UK on trade missions as far afield as Vietnam and Brunei. This year, Caroline received an OBE for her Services to Business and Charity in recognition of this and we couldn’t be more proud!
