Get Caught up with Decidedly in June

With conferences and our innovation own event all going on in June, here’s a lil’ snippet of what we’re up to next month and where you can find us.

Thursday, 6th June, Mary Ward House, London

Going full steam ahead with conference season, we are speaking at the AQR’s (Association for Qualitative Research) Big Day Out. We will be sharing a session – called Humans and Androids – with Big Sofa Technologies and BAMM. All three talks will look at varying perspectives on the role of the researcher and technology in qualitative research.

We will be joined on stage by our client Iva Kralj-Taylor from the Walt Disney Company. We will be sharing how we’ve brought ethnography bang up to date with passive observation and how it’s enabling us to get beyond issues of claim, recalled, unconscious and subconscious behaviours. By removing the ethnographer from the room and harnessing the latest technology, this innovative approach has given Disney new and invaluable insights about families and kids’ leisure time.  Book your tickets now!

On the 11th June from 8.30 – 10.30 am, Decidedly will be hosting a free breakfast learning event as part of London Tech Week 2019.

The topic of discussion? Corporate experiments. We know that deciding on what type of experiment to run and how to run it can be confusing! So, we’re here to help you out – and give you the lowdown on running corporate experiments. Get tips and tricks from corporate entrepreneurs at Zurich Insurance and Unforgettable. And get hands-on with a practical exercise on experimentation that you can take back into the office.

Our speaker line-up features Head of Innovation at Zurich Insurance, Mark Budd and Head of Innovation at – a marketplace for dementia products and services – Adam Vaughan. Our own Director of Innovation, Adrian Wong will be chairing the session.

If you’re passionate about creating better products, services and experiences at pace, then grab your ticket and come along (and get a free coffee and pastry – or two).
